Client: Lionsgate / AMC
Director: Mark Gardner and Steve Fuller

I chose the mad men opener because of its unique design and combination of both 2D and 3D animation. It has a feel that I have not seen in many other animations, which is why it stuck out to me so much. The opener uses both simplicity and complexity to make for a very interesting clip.

AMC commented "We love the graphic Imaginary Forces opener for Mad Men: a mini-story, setting up the larger story that follows. The final frame resolution of that open - the silhouette of the back of Don Draper's head - has become the iconic image of the show: bold, clean, confident, modern, and ultimately enigmatic".
